Enhance the ease of engine start with the Easy Start Cam Kit, compatible with any displacement or compression ratio. Safeguard your starter and battery as this kit has been tested for 10,000 starts without draining the battery. Initially, the crank compression is reduced for effortless start, but as the engine revs up, the centrifugal retraction of the compression release lobe allows for normal running with high performance and full compression. The installation kit is included for all chain-drive cams, and a 4-gear set is provided for gear-drive cams. This kit is ideal for 88/95/96/103 cubic-inch engines with compression ratios below 10:1. Made in the U.S.A., the installation requires the installer to check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance and valve-to-piston clearance. Expect some valve train noise with the gear drive system. Note: Not compatible with models featuring OEM compression releases.
