Your starter and battery will thank you, as it has been tested for 10,000 starts without draining the battery. The initial reduction in crank compression allows for an easy start, and once the engine begins running, the centrifugal compression release lobe is retracted, providing full compression and performance without any loss. Installation kits are included for all chain-drive and gear-drive cams, and this kit is suitable for 88/95/96/103 cubic-inch engines with compression ratios below 10:1. Made in the U.S.A! Just be sure to check coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance during installation. Keep in mind that gear drives may create more valve train noise, but for the thrill-seekers, that's just a part of the adventure. Not recommended for models with OEM compression releases.
