Preserve your starter and battery as this kit has been tested for 10,000 starts without draining your battery. Initially, the kit reduces crank compression for an effortless start, but once the engine purrs to life and revs up, the compression release lobe is automatically retracted for maximum power and performance. Whether it's chain-drive or gear-drive, installation kits are included to make the process a breeze. Perfect for 88/95/96/103 cubic-inch engines with compression ratios below 10:1, these kits are proudly made in the U.S.A. However, make sure to check for coil bind, valve-to-valve clearance, and valve-to-piston clearance before installation. And, as a risk-taker, you should know that gear drives may increase valve train noise. Please note that this kit is not suitable for models with OEM compression releases.
